For experienced VW owners and professional workshops who want the eDub transformation, and the achievement of completing the installation themselves.
The eDub e30 SE replaces the original VW T2 engine, gearbox and fuel tank. All major conversion components are in the engine bay, no interior space will be compromised.
The e30 SE builds on eDub's Legacy for creating incredible electric conversion systems for classic camper vans. The e30 SE connects to the vehicle using the exsisting mounting holes, so no cutting or welding of the chassis is required.
This kit is fully reversable and can be swapped in and out of your VW T2 easily.

The installer mounts and connects the supplied components before completing the prescribed inspection, testing and activation process.
Installation Time
Designed to be completed in approximately 80 workshop hours by a suitably competent installer. This target will be validated through the first e30 SE installation and may vary with vehicle condition and installer experience.
Requirements for the Founding Build:
A 1967–1979 Bay Window, not a Split Screen.
A UK customer within practical travelling distance.
A mechanically sound and restored vehicle.
A properly equipped workshop.
An installer willing to document time, missing parts, unclear instructions and test results.
Someone without an immovable completion deadline.
The underlying eDub components and conversion architecture are proven in our completed vehicles. This will be the first system supplied in the new e30 SE self-install format, so the installation process, documentation and packaged contents will be validated alongside the selected founding customer.
DVLA Support
eDub supplies the component specification, invoice, pre-dispatch test record, installation checklist and guidance covering the photographic evidence and information normally required when notifying DVLA. The vehicle owner remains responsible for the application, inspection and roadworthiness of the completed vehicle. Registration decisions remain with DVLA and cannot be guaranteed.
